What parents need to know

Parents need to know that TRYSCIENCE is a great place to find guides to technology, science and nature centers, and science experiments. The site is packed with ideas for parents, teachers and older, highly motivated science students to share with other kids. Follow instructions to build a spaghetti bridge to learn which shapes withstand more force; or learn how salt in the soil affects seed growth. It could be a more kid-catching site if there were more online interactive elements. Still, if teachers or parents take the real world field trip advice and experiments to kids, they're likely to have a greater appreciation for the worldwide appeal of science.
