Quality

  • Although the series spotlights interesting eateries, fun local dishes, and the relationship between regional food and culture, the primary focus is on indulging in large quantities of food.
  • Not applicable.
  • Interactions between Richman and locals occasionally include some very mild sexual innuendo that's more funny than sexual in nature.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that while this reality series -- which follows host Adam Richman as he travels the country trying local cuisines and participating in eating challenges -- is pretty mild overall, its focus on overindulging in large portions of food highlights some unhealthy eating habits. There's also some very mild sexual innuendo, as well as some alcohol (mostly beer) consumption during meals.

Good for anybody
Adam on Man vs. food is really funny. sometimes he sees girls at restaurants and seems to like them.... Another thing is he is always eating huge portions. This may be fun to watch, but not something you should encourage children or any one else to do.

Perfect for the whole family!
Yeah the guy eats more than he should but that's what makes this so fun to watch! I think the best part is that you get to see all the great food our country has to offer. When they show a "normal" serving, you almost want to visit that city just to try it. The part when he eats a hamburger the size of a toaster is just funny. My whole family loves watching Adam!

This is one of my favorite TV shows. I watch it all the time but, there is some language like The Big Bad A** Burrito and others and every once in a while Adam will say Release He**

Very good show but it has some language like h**l, a**, and d**n and they bleep the bad words that are even worse and in a lot of episodes, Adam drinks beer.
