I like the song and the music video is hilarious. There's nothing bad about this song except for the part where he sings "I'll meet a real nice girl, have some real nice sex" part. The "throw a hand in my pants" part is gross but it's something you do when you're lazy.
Relax! It's called the Lazy Day not the Uptight Day!!!
I mean, the "hand in my pants" part was just too much, but Bruno has been so clean and good, now he's talking about s*x and "strutting in his birthday suit". Overall, a lot of my friends (and me!) listen to it and I don't think It's that bad, I just don't sing that part. And, yes, I'm a girl.
haha, i love this song. it makes me smile in a way :D
but that part that says "have some really nice sex" isn't very good to hear o.o
but besides that, its a catchy song thats great to hear during the summer when you wind down .
It's hilarious. Really. So very funny. However, if I had children, I probably wouldn't want them to hear stuff about things "hanging loose" and "throwing your hands in your pants" and "having really nice sex"
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! It is like my dream day...well minus a few things he mentions... I think this song has a possitive message, but some lines are not appropriate.
Some lines aren't appropriate, such as "Have a really nice girl have some really sex", Throw my hand down my pants...", and "Just strut in my birthday suit." So it all depends on how muture the kid is listening to it.
The good things are it's a very catchy song!
I really liked Bruno Mars "Just the way you are" and really thought he was going to be different from other artists, lyric wise. Guess not. I don't get it why artists have to always add in just one or two lyrics or words to their songs. This would have been a good song if it didn't have lines about having sex, putting your hands in your pants, and walking around in your birthday suit. Why does everything in the media always have to be about sex? It sends bad messages to younger kids thats its okay to have sex and do whatever you feel like, as long as nothing happens to you. Its really a shame when we justify a song as okay because it mentions sex, and but doesn't go into details. Why do younger kids even teenagers need to listen to this, is beyond me.
I love this song, it's all about having a relaxing day which is something everyone needs. I agree that there are a few references in there that small kids wouldn't want to hear but it could be soooooooo much worse than it actually is. It's aimed at teens and young adults and both groups can handle this sort of thing, but it won't corrupt an 11 year old who listens to the song either. Better they listen to a feel-good song rather than an angry rap.
