I was really disappointed with this one. This movie has an unnessecary focus on sexuality--Toto is always exclaiming how "sexy" he is, Dorothry's dream is to be a glamourus, sexy, singing sensation, Miss Piggy's act as the wicked witch of the west has a blatant S & M attributes.
Sure it all turns out alright in the end when Dorothy realizes that family is what's really important in life. However, in my experience, children of the target age group may not discern between simultaneous positive and negative messages and often remember and reenact the most fantastic ones.
Guess which messages are the most memforable in this movie...
