Believe

Common Sense Media says

JB grows up but stays sweet in slightly more mature tracks.
Age
9
Quality

  • Bieber has a lot of positive things to say about loving and respecting people, and living life to the fullest.
  • Bieber fills this record with lots of positive role model behaviors, including showing others you care and keeping a positive outlook.
  • Not applicable.
  • Some sensuality threaded throughout, with lines about touching and "feeling your body rock" that (very loosely) allude to more than just kissing.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that on his album Believe, Justin Bieber keeps it clean but clearly leaves his young teen days behind. The record is mostly free of profanity (Nicki Minaj's rap includes the word "bitch") and there are no graphic references to sex, substances, or violence; however, it features the slightly more mature view that romantic love isn't always rosy, along with a couple intimate lines about "touching." Still, the album is still fine for tweens and teens.

Bieber goes bad.
2 songs has cursing during the rap parts. "Die in your arms" and "Beauty and a beat". The word D*mn is used and the word B*tch is used. I don't want my 9 year old singing those tunes so I took them off here player.

Some songs sound like JT
I like those more (Maria), but I think if his voice was lower it might sound even better (not that he can do anything about his voice...) Overall, some of the songs are catchy, (for me its mainly just 'Maria')
