  • A tutorial explains the basics of the game and helps players get started. From there, the controls are relatively intuitive. However, the mini-games can be a bit tricky, especially the first time or two through, and the directions for those aren't always very clear.
  • Not applicable.
  • The Sims have slightly suggestive clothing available to wear. Also, when a relationship progresses far enough, the Sims can engage in "Woo-Hoo" (the app's term), which shows them diving under the covers with hearts all around. It's subtle, but older kids will understand what is being suggested.

  • The main menu has a page with the publisher's other apps and a link to their website. There is also a subtle link at the top of the main menu screen that goes directly to the publisher's website.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that The Sims World Adventures is an in-depth simulation game. The feel is similar to PC versions of The Sims 3, but is tailored to fit the constraints of this platform. Players will have the opportunity to travel to Egypt, China, and France to explore landmarks, taste the cuisine, make friends, and learn special Sim skills such as language and bartering. Sims will need to get a job to pay for their traveling habit and to purchase exotic furniture and ingredients from other countries. As with other The Sims games, your Sims can fall in love and dive under the sheets.
