Ninjatown: Trees of Doom

Common Sense Media says

Cute, fun game, but connects to online community.

  • This is a game of quick-thinking and quick-tapping. All you need to do is climb, jumping from one tree to the other when obstacles appear in your path.
  • As your "wee ninja" climbs trees, there are many obstacles that can make him fall -- slime, fireballs, flying demons, etc. When he falls, he begins to plummet, but is immediately caught by his sensei in a hot air balloon. Demons and monsters are designed to look cute, not scary.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that NINJATOWN: TREES OF DOOM is, despite being a ninja game, a cute old-school arcade game with little in the way of violence. It's about climbing trees (even if those trees contain monsters and other hazards). The main thing parents need to be aware of is the game's optional connection to the Plus+ online community. Be aware that if kids sign up for Plus+, they will be able to send and receive messages from people they've friended through that community.

There is nothing objectionable at all in this game. Surprisingly this is a very fun game. Just look up a video on youtube. Also why is Common Sense so against online gaming. Just tell your kids not to use it.
