Common Sense Media says

Delicious way to make cookies with yummy trimmings.

  • All 17 kinds of dough apparently are store bought - no mixing of messy virtual ingredients is necessary. Roll out dough by pushing the rolling pin with a finger. Playing hint: don't eat your cookie too quickly or there will be nothing left to save to the camera roll but crumbs.

My son loves this!
My son loves this game too! He especially loves now that you can make your own cookie dough, mushing up berries and cutting up butter and breaking eggs. More entertaining than you would think!

Scrumptious little app for little ones
It sounds ridiculous but this app will actually keep your preschooler occupied for a few minutes while you (insert important thing you need to do here). Also, my child is obsessed with candy and he gets an illogical satisfaction out of making and eating pretend cookies covered in frosting and M&M's. Somehow this curbs the real craving.... cute little app.Personally i think the navigation could be a bit better but it's fine.

Cute and fun
This is a really cute app, and my 5yo loves it. You tilt the phone to "pour" ingredients, you tap to break eggs/chop nuts/mash fruit, sift and stir with your finger, roll out the dough, decorate with sprinkles and frosting, etc etc. You can save your creations in a cookie jar and email them to grandma. This is basically as wholesome as an app can get. Also, I think it may have been updated since the Common Sense review above -- you do get to mix ingredients now, which is the most fun part for my daughter.

Great for younger kids or when you have nothing to do.
This is a very cute little app. It is good for younger kids or just when you have nothing to do. You learn the basics of making cookies, and it's just plain fun!
