  • While there are some suggestive lyrics, the game encourages exercise and teaches dance moves, too.
  • The dancers you are following are role models for exercise.
  • Kinect for Xbox 360 makes it very easy to play the game. If you can navigate through the menu screens by waving your hand in the air, you can dance without having to hold anything. The Nintendo Wii version of the game is also easy to play.
  • Not applicable.
  • Some of the silhouette dancers move suggestively, including the grinding of hips, smacking buttocks, and hand gestures that look like they're touching themselves. Lyrics might also prove a bit steamy including lines like "she spent her twenties between the sheets," "touch my body with the proper care," "sleep around" and "drinkin' and lusting."
  • Along with lyrics with sexual references, the words "hell" and "damn" can be heard.
  • The game is based on popular songs from yesterday and today. There are advertisements in the manual for other Just Dance games.
  • One of the songs makes reference to consuming alcohol: "drinking and lusting."
  • Minor privacy and safety concerns. There is no online multiplayer version of this game but you can compare scores online. Gamers cannot talk with one another over the Internet.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know Just Dance: Greatest Hits is a dance game featuring a few songs with mild sexy language and on-screen dancers doing suggestive movements like grinding hips, touching one's body, and pretending to smack buttocks. But this is of the E10+ variety, not those found in "T" rated dance games.

Good message and game!
This game, in my opinion, teaches children to exercise by dancing. Though some words can be heard in the songs, they usually bleep most of the word out. I believe this is a very good game.
